Time for Chili!.com has a new look, but is here to stay! A place for all things chili, we have collected chili recipes from all over the country. Beef Chili, Seafood Chili, Chicken Chili, Vegetarian Chili, Chili con Carne, Crockpot Chili, Flaming Hot Chili, Mild Chili, Green Chili, Turkey and White Bean Chili, you name it! We have chili recipes for all tastes, time frames, and budgets.
Chili! One of the only foods with its own festivals is as numerous and different as the people who love it. East, West, North. and South. Go anywhere in America and you'll find chili lovers, and the each have their own recipies and opinions on how chili should be made. Soak the beans, stew the tomatos, braise the beef, let simmer for how long?
So many of these delicious recipes seem impossible even for the seasoned cook, let alone a bachelor who loves chili or a college student who only has a crockpot and a hot plate. If you happen to be a less experienced cook than Emeril, we're here to help. If you're lucky enough to cook that well, we've got recipes for you too. So please try them, and let us know what works. Chili Recipe of the Day
Hot Red Chili

For those who like things HOT!
Ingredients
20 ea Dried Chili Peppers4 lbs Chili meat
1 tea spn Oil
1 Meidum Onio Chopped
5 Garlic Cloves Minced
1 tea spn Oregano
1 tea spn Comino
1 10 oz Can Tomato Sauce
¾ Cup Water
2½ tbls spn Masa Flour
Directions
1. Remove stems and seeds from chili pods
2. Wash and put into a large pan and cover with water.
3. Simmer until tender then drain
4. Place peppers in food processor and puree theb put aside
5. Brown meat in small amount of oil
6. Add onion and garlic
7. Simmer for 10 minutes.
8. Then add the oregano, Comino, salt and pepper. Salt and peper to taste.
9. Add pepper puree to the chili meat
10. Add tomato sauce and water, then bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 to 4 hours
11. More water may be added during cooking
12. When almost done, thicken with flour/water paste.
